The process of a commission will go as so: as soon as I let you know your turn on the waiting list has arrived, I will start preparing to work on the commission. For commissions, I will require 50% of the commission fee upfront. Once I have received payment, I will officially begin working.I will draw a rough sketch / draft of the project and send it to you via email. Here is the stage where any major revisions should be made to the piece. Revisions are unlimited here. No more major revisions can be made after this stage for free. Once you are satisfied with the final rough sketch, I will ask for the final 50% fee. Once receiving the final fee I will continue further work, sending WIP's occasionally. The amount I will send will vary depending on the detail and amount of work. I am also happy to share a WIP upon the asking of you, the Client!Any small revisions throughout this stage will be free of charge. Any larger revisions will require an extra payment depending on the amount of work required. Please keep in mind that there is no certain timeline for my commission work. If you need the piece done by a specific date, you will be given a 'Rush Order Fee'. The fee will depend on how close or far the date is, my other work and any holidays. If you do not need the work done by a specific date, you could be waiting any time from a few weeks to a few months. I can give you an extremely rough estimate if you wish, message me and ask!The final file(s) will be delivered in what format the Client wants. It will be by default: (2) PSD files (one watermarked, one not), and (2) PNG or JPEG files (one watermarked, one not). I will send you periodic updates on your commission after substantial progress, if I need your approval on something or if you ask me for an update. Please be responsive!Conversing via email is my preferred way to work. I will aim to respond within 24-48 hours unless there is a holiday. I will mention if I am on holiday at the top of my commissions page as well as contacting my clients and letting them know.
